I was delighted to be invited to the Defence School of Policing and Guarding today, to give a presentation on domestic abuse against men. The talk is based on my own experiences as a Military Police officer dealing with domestics, only to become a victim of domestic abuse myself, decades later. I discuss how I was driven to the verge of suicide by my experiences and offer advice to Police officers, policy makers and other sufferers and survivors.

I'm delighted to say that I have already been invited back to take part in a full days domestic abuse training for Military Police officers, where I will be one of a number of speakers.

Understandably, due to security issues, a photo of the room with the audience, was not be permitted. However, the attendance was excellent and was the largest number of people that I had presented to.

As a Military Policeman, I served eight years with the Mounted Branch, so it was a trip down memory lane to see this again.

A huge thank you to everyone at The Defence School of Policing and Guarding or hosting me today.
