Policing, gender bias and the hidden male victims, of domestic abuse. (Unedited version)

The article that follows is the unedited version of the article that appears in Policing Insight. The article was edited by the magazine to comply with their legal terms and conditions.

I was delighted to be invited to provide a "long read" article on domestic abuse against men, for the international policing magazine, "Policing Insight." The magazine's distribution includes the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Asia.

The magazine has 12,957 unique visitors per month, 144,645 unique users per year, over 13,900 newsletter subscribers, 73,304 page views per month and reaches the most senior leaders in policing.

Let's hope that the important message that, "all domestic abuse victims and their children matter, regardless of their gender," gets through to those that can make the changes that are needed.

I would be interested to hear your comments.
