THE SOCIETAL ABUSE OF MEN
Societal abuse is a form of active abuse, that refers to the disadvantages an individual or group experiences, as a result of unjust social structures. In this case, the group that I’m referring to, is abused men. Particularly, gay, straight, bisexual and trans, male victims of domestic abuse and their children. All categories of societal abuse involve the manipulative control of time, energy, focus and connection between people, groups and organisations, in the service of on

Women's charity leaders, minimising women's abuse against men.
It is a disgrace for leaders of the two biggest domestic abuse charities in the UK, to dismiss and minimise female perpetrated domestic abuse. #DomesticAbuse #DomesticViolence #YouAreNotAlone #Vlog #Blog #Government #Politics #Covid19 #Menoo #MeToo #Business #Equality #GammaBias #Police #NHS #CoerciveControl #Misandry #WomensAid #RespectUK #Refuge #MankindInitiative #Feminism #ToxicMasculinity #DABS #DomesticAbuseBusinessSupport #Education #Crime #Gaslighting #PTSD #MentalHe

When do people become perpetrators?
This week, I produced this video. It was in response to an almost identical video that a serving police officer put out but with one big difference, his was gendered and called, "When did HE become a perpetrator?" It is completely unacceptable for a serving police officer to help to reinforce the negative gender stereotype that men are always the perpetrator and women always the victim. Perpetrators can of course, be male or female. I hope you like the video. Please feel free

TODAY I WROTE TO MY MP
Today I wrote to my MP to ask if he will support our, "Bridging The Gap Project," which aims to change the language used when discussing domestic abuse. I believe that gender needs to be removed from the conversation and I explain why, in the letter below. If you feel as strongly as I do about this, please feel free to use this letter as a template, to write to your own MP. You can find your local MP here: https://members.parliament.uk/FindYourMP Thank you for your support. #

Ministry Of Defence
I was delighted to receive this today. Back in November 2019, I was invited to speak at the MOD on the subject of domestic abuse against men and domestic abuse in the workplace. The event was to launch the "Defence wide Domestic Abuse Awareness Campaign." It was attended by several support organisations, military and non-military, as well as survivors. Alongside representatives from the RAF and Navy Families’ Federations and the Military Welfare Colonels, were Mr Chris Green

More than half a million working women experienced domestic abuse last year.
A new report by KPMG highlights the seriousness of the impact that domestic abuse is having in the workplace. It's unfortunate however, that this report ignores an entire gender. Men are also victims of domestic abuse and are also targeted in the workplace. Read the article here. https://metro.co.uk/2019/11/25/more-than-half-a-million-working-women-experienced-domestic-abuse-last-year-11211764/ #domesticabuse #domesticviolence #HR #Business #blog #blogger

THE INTERNAL THREAT
Terrorism, espionage, cyber threats and - domestic abuse. Terrorism, espionage and cyber threats, are the top three threats to Britain's national security. In 2015 The "Strategic Defence and Security Review," announced £178bn of equipment spending, after analysing the full range of internal and external threats and examining the capabilities needed to counter them. But It's not just countries that spend vast amounts of money on security. Corporations spend millions on bodygua
